Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information 9thClass-Result.pk collects when you use the site, what we do with it, and what we deliberately do not do. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

Roll numbers you enter

When you check a result, you enter a board name, an examination year and a roll number. That information is used to perform the lookup and return your result. We do not store the roll numbers people search for, we do not build a record of who searched what, and we do not associate searches with any individual.

The result data itself, names and marks, originates from official board records that are published publicly. We display that information. We do not own it and we do not sell it.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we collect some anonymous technical information through analytics: approximate page views, which pages are visited, roughly where in the world visitors are, what type of device and browser is used, and how long pages take to load. This is aggregate data. It tells us that a thousand people visited a page, not who those people were.

We use this to understand which parts of the site are useful, catch performance problems, and plan capacity for result day. It is not used to profile individuals and it is not combined with anything you type into the result checker.

Cookies and third parties

The site uses Google Analytics, which places cookies to distinguish returning visits from new ones. We also display advertising, and advertising networks may place their own cookies to control how often an advertisement is shown and to measure whether it was seen.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not prevent you from checking your result, because the result checker does not depend on cookies to function.

What we do not do

We do not require registration, so we hold no accounts, no passwords and no email lists. We do not ask for your CNIC, phone number, address or any other identifying detail. We do not sell data to third parties. We do not send marketing messages, because we have no way to contact you and no interest in acquiring one.

Data security

The site is served entirely over HTTPS, so traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit. Because we do not store personal information from searches, there is correspondingly little to expose in the event of a breach. That is a design decision as much as a security measure.

Children and students

Most visitors to this site are secondary school students, many of them under eighteen. That is precisely why we have kept data collection minimal. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age, beyond the anonymous analytics described above.

Result data removal

If you believe result information displayed for your roll number is inaccurate, or you have a specific concern about your record appearing on this site, contact us and we will look into it. Note that board gazettes are published publicly by the boards themselves, and we have no control over what appears in the official record.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
